POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old boy was threatened and robbed in Dandenong last month.
Investigators have been told two teenage boys approached him at a shopping centre about 2.45pm on Sunday 16 December.
One threatened to assault the victim and demanded he hand over his mobile phone.
The pair fled the scene with the phone. The Doveton boy was not injured during the robbery.
The first thief is described as being about 15 years old with an olive complexion and thin build.
He was wearing a red Chicago Bulls basketball singlet, khaki pants and a black beanie.
The second is described as aged in his teens and Aboriginal in appearance with a medium build.
He was wearing a grey hooded top with yellow shorts and a blue baseball cap.
