A home has been engulfed by fire near the corner of Bloomfield and Mather roads, Noble Park.
Four fire trucks from Dandenong, Noble Park and Springvale were called to the single-storey timber dwelling about 1.46am on 4 July.
The fire was under control by 1.58am, a CFA spokesman said.
A building surveyor will investigate the site.
The fire was not deemed suspicious.
