Lotto luck in the lat

A DANDENONG North man was reading his laptop on the loo when he discovered he’d won more than $1.47 million.
He checked the Tatts Lotto results during a trip to the toilet on Sunday morning (24 March) and found he’d won the first division prize.
“Yeah, it was a shock,” he said.
“I got myself together, then ran into the bedroom to tell my wife. She said ‘don’t wake me up!’ but I figured she’d want to hear this!”
The winning couple, aged in their 30s, have grand plans for the cash.
“I called the boss this morning and told him about the win,” the lucky man said on Monday.
“I’ll be taking six months off work to travel with my wife. I’ve already been out to pick up some travel brochures.
“We’re going over to Vegas and to England to see The Ashes. I’m a die-hard cricket fan, so it’s a dream come true.
“We’ll also pay off the house and look at setting up a real estate business down the track.”
He purchased the entry from Waverley Gardens Lotto, at Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre.
He’ll claim multiple divisional prizes from his System 8 entry totalling $1,481,784.54.
