Service remembers conflict

DANDENONG RSL honoured Vietnamese war veterans on Saturday.
The Vietnam Armed Forces Day event included a brief service in English and Vietnamese at the Victorian Vietnam War memorial with both national anthems and a keynote speech praising Australians for their assistance in the Vietnam War.
Sub-branch president John Wells said it was a very big day for the Vietnamese ex-service community, and more than 200 people attended a lunch following the service at the Victorian Vietnam War Memorial.
