MORE than 640 people in Greater Dandenong are diagnosed with cancer each year.
So Cancer Council Victoria is calling on residents to offer their neighbours hope this Daffodil Day.
It needs volunteers to “sell yellow” on Friday 23 August – merchandise including pens, magnets, key rings, wristbands, bears and more will raise cash for cancer research, prevention and support services.
The appeal raised $1.74 million last year and the foundation hopes to exceed that this year.
