Broken bottle robbery threat

THIEVES threatened a Springvale man with a knife and a broken bottle during an armed robbery in Noble Park.
The 25-year-old was walking near Lawn Road and Woodward Street about 6.20pm on 31 July when two men approached.
A man described as African in appearance, aged 20 to 25 and 190 centimetres tall, wearing a dark blue jacket with a New York Yankees emblem, smashed a bottle he was carrying and demanded the victim’s phone.
An Asian man aged in his late 20s wearing a white T-shirt and brown pants produced a knife and made further demands.
The victim handed over his phone and a large amount of cash in fear, and the thieves fled.
Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with any information.
