A Buddhist meditation temple for up to 10 worshippers in a residential court in Noble Park has been granted a 12-month planning permit.
The proponents of the temple at 5 Rolex Court were directed to submit a plan on managing the numbers of worshippers, traffic and on-street parking in neighbouring streets.
The site is permitted up to 10 worshippers every second Sunday and five on any other day.
Four objectors and 12 petitioners opposed the development because of noise and parking concerns.
