Walk cuts across all groups

WALKFEST is a free community event that aims to get people of all abilities, ages and backgrounds active.
It supports inclusion of people with disabilities with the wider community and includes four walks from different locations across Dandenong.
In walking school-bus style, walkers collect other participants who have registered to start their walk at other locations. All walks end at Hemmings Park with entertainment, food and activities.
The 10-kilometre Challenge Walk starts at Tirhatuan Park, Dandenong North, and includes the Eastlink Trail.
The Pop Up Park Walk is 2km, the Oasis Walk is 3.5km and the Heritage Hill route is 1.5km.
WalkFest runs from 9.30am to 2pm on Friday 25 October. Registrations are essential. Visit www.greaterdandenong.com or call 9239 5100.
