No limits to ability

PARALYMPIC gold medallist Kelly Cartwright is the guest speaker at a Wallara charity event this Friday 25 October.
The disability support service is holding a charity golf day and dinner at Keysborough Golf Club from 10.45am to 8pm, to support its Wallara Wish Foundation.
The dinner kicks off at 5pm and will feature world record holder Cartwright, who shot to fame at the London Paralympics.
At age 15 she had to make the decision to amputate her leg or risk dying of cancer. She’s since completed an amazing journey that’s included learning to walk again and becoming the first below-the-leg amputee to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
Wallara’s Sing and Sign choir, a collaboration with the Auslan Company, will also perform at the dinner and guests will meet some of the very talented people Wallara supports.
Keysborough Golf Course is at 55 Hutton Road, Keysborough. Call Julie Cosgriff on 9792 2985 or email jcosgriff@wallara.com.au to reserve a ticket.
