GREATER Dandenong residents put their best foot forward and pounded the pavement on Friday, despite grey skies.
The council’s free WalkFest event on 25 October aimed to get people of all abilities, ages and backgrounds active and included four walks from different locations across Dandenong.
While walking school bus style, walkers collected participants from the Pop Up Park, Heritage Hill, Dandenong Oasis and Tirhatuan Park.
All walks culminated in a celebration at Hemmings Park, with entertainment, food and activities.
