KEYSBOROUGH residents dug deep to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House earlier this month.
Staff at McDonald Real Estate and McDonald’s Keysborough, on the corner of Cheltenham and Perry roads, joined forces for the fourth year in a row on Saturday 9 November in support of McHappy Day.
McHappy Day raises money for Ronald McDonald House in Parkville, which is dedicated to providing a home away from home for families with a seriously ill child undergoing specialist paediatric care at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Donated items were auctioned by McDonald Real Estate directors Le Hoa and John Wysham, while the restaurant managers Daniel Chadeyras, Alastair Mortier, Jason Grech and Nikki Peut all pitched in holding up items, spruiking a few bids and even throwing in the odd bid themselves.
The event raised more than $6300.
Happy bids at auction
