Unit refused

A NEW unit beside an existing home would be an overdevelopment of a Keysborough block.
This was the decision from City of Greater Dandenong councillors on Monday night regarding a proposal for 3 Gilbert Court.
Councillor Roz Blades moved an alternative motion to refuse the permit after a council officers’ report recommended it be approved.
She said the block was too small for the second dwelling proposed and it would cause “unreasonable overshadowing” to neighbouring properties.
