Man arrested over stabbing, assault

A MAN has been arrested over the multiple-stabbing of a woman in Noble Park and the bashing of a man in Springvale this morning.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the man in his thirties allegedly assaulted and stabbed the woman, also in her thirties, in a unit in Simpson Drive, Noble Park, about 3.30am.
The woman was conveyed to The Alfred hospital with serious injuries.
Soon afterwards, the same man allegedly used a hockey stick to bash a man during an altercation in Loller Street, Springvale.
The victim was taken to Dandenong Hospital with minor injuries, the police spokeswoman said.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives believe the three people were known to one another, she said.
