A 17-YEAR-OLD boy has been attacked in an attempted robbery in Springvale South.
The victim was approached by a male outside a community centre on Mackay Street as he walked home on 16 July about 7.40am.
The victim was punched to the face after refusing the stranger’s demands for his wallet.
His face was cut and his glasses fell and were damaged.
The would-be robber was described as of African appearance and was travelling in a grey VE Commodore sedan.
