Baseball bat attack

TWO men, one wielding a baseball bat, attacked and robbed a 20-year-old Springvale man in Noble Park on 25 November.
He was walking east along the southern side of Lightwood Road near Sandown Park Railway Station shortly before midnight when two men approached from behind.
One grabbed him in a headlock and punched him in the head and face and the second attacker joined in.
They dragged the victim across the road to a gravel car park where they continued the assault and demanded his cash and phone.
He complied and the men fled east along Lightwood Road.
The victim described one attacker as African, about 178 centimetres tall and aged in his 20s with a medium build.
He was wearing dark-coloured clothing and carrying a baseball bat.
The second was Caucasian, about 180cm tall and aged in his early 20s with brown shoulder length hair and with a skinny build.
Call Detective Senior Constable Harris at the Dandenong Embona Taskforce on 8558 8684 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 with any information.
