SOUTH Sea Roller Derby will go to Gotham City next week to honour one of its own.
The Cutthroat Charmers and the Blackheart Breakers will face off in a Batman-themed battle dubbed We Believe In Harvey Dent.
Much-loved league referee Harvey passed away earlier this year.
The event will raise funds to help non-profit organisation Beyondblue reduce the impact of depression and anxiety in the community.
The event will see several new skaters make their on-track debut alongside international skaters.
On the sidelines there’ll be costumes, stalls, face painting and more, with skaters, officials and volunteers dressing to theme as Gotham’s heroes and villains.
Doors for We Believe In Harvey Dent open at 6pm on Saturday 14 March for a 7pm start.
The bout is at Springers Leisure Centre, 400 Cheltenham Road, Keysborough.
Market stalls on site, and a bar for over 18s.
Tickets are available online at www.southsearollerderby.com and at the door.
