Rugrats give pots of love

MUMS will unwrap personalised pot plants from some Keysborough rugrats next weekend.
Bunnings Warehouse provided kids at non-profit playgroup Rug Ratz with pots to decorate last Thursday, 30 April, just in time for Mother’s Day on 10 May.
The children filled their colourful terracotta pots with plants and learned about sustainability.
Mum Eva said the activity fitted perfectly with the mum’s group’s motto Growing Together.
Rug Ratz runs at Springers Leisure Centre in Keysborough every Thursday from 10am to noon and has been around for eight years.
Eva said kids could play together and learn social skills in a safe and structured environment and that mums could find support, too.
A yearly $35 playgroup fee and a $35 fee per family per term covers rent and supplies.
Call enrolment officer Nina on 0417 022 187 to sign up or for more information.
