A MAN allegedly carrying a fake gun stole a teenager’s iPhone while they were waiting for a bus in Springvale South.
The man approached the 15-year-old victim at the Clarke Road bus stop and asked him for the time about 4.20pm on Monday 22 June.
When the teen took out his phone, the man grabbed it.
A confrontation ensued between the two, at which point the offender pulled up his shirt to reveal what appeared to be gun.
The offender then fled with the phone but the victim later alleged the man’s gun was a fake.
