On the map after being bypassed

By CASEY NEILL

THE Dandenong Bypass is on the map.
The Journal last week reported that the road was shown as under construction on Google Maps and Melways online despite opening in December 2012.
Keysborough South Action Group called on people to report the issue, and on 24 September applauded Google for updating its maps to show the bypass as open.
The volunteer group run by local residents is running a petition calling for a new bus route to service Keysborough South and a campaign for a new primary school for the growing suburb.
“The bypass is the key to both the bus and the school campaign,” the group said on its Facebook page.
