Witches, Oompa Loompas and a Trunchbull showed up to Lyndale Greens Primary on Tuesday 13 September.
The Dandenong North school celebrated author Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday with a dress-up parade to honour his most famous characters.
Assistant principal Karen Hall said students also created Willy Wonka hats, crocodiles and golden tickets.
“For decades, children around the world have been enjoying stories written by Roald Dahl,” she said.
“Throughout the term, the students listened to and read famous novels written by the author.
“Everyone had a great day honouring the humorous and imaginative stories by Roald Dahl.”
