A Noble Park man who was arrested after more than $100,000 of drugs were seized from his family home may fight his drug trafficking charge.
So Aung, 33, appeared briefly at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 21 November.
His barrister Caitlin Dwyer said Aung would plead not guilty to trafficking on the strength of notebooks seized as part of the 7 October police raid.
Ms Dwyer said the eventual translation of the notebooks would “assist in resolving the case”.
During the raid, police allegedly seized cannabis, methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and hashish.
Magistrate Jack Vandersteen said he expected police to argue a trafficking charge on the drug quantities and circumstances alone.
Aung was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 21 December.
