Ready for new service

There’ll soon be a new service station at Heatherton Road and James Street, Dandenong.
Greater Dandenong councillors approved the application for 1464-1468 Heatherton Road at their Monday 28 November meeting.
The council received three objections to the application relating to pedestrian safety, noise, health concerns due to fumes, soil contamination, potential for explosions and property devaluation.
A council report deemed the application, which also includes a convenience store, to be appropriate for the location.
