Stabbed during street brawl

A man was stabbed during a street brawl in Dandenong North.
Police received reports about the scuffle in Downer Crescent about 6.45pm on Saturday 18 March, but arrived to find the crowd had dispersed.
About two hours later, a 26-year-old Dandenong man presented at Dandenong Hospital with a single stab wound to his left chest and shoulder area.
He told police he was stabbed at the Downer Street incident but did not know his attacker.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives appealed for anyone who could identify the person responsible to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
