Two charged for over 25 burglaries

Greater Dandenong police arrested two Cranbourne men over a series of ram-raids and commercial burglaries in the South East.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Dean Hedge said the arrests occurred in Patterson Lakes on Thursday 8 June following an operation, a short police pursuit and a car-ramming.
“They were wanted and charged for about 25 burglaries over multiple jurisdictions,” he said.
Those jurisdictions included Dandenong, Casey, Frankston and Kingston and the alleged offences occurred in the week and a half leading to 8 June.
Det Sgt Hedge said police recovered an extensive amount of stolen property from a Frankston address. He said the total value was not yet known.
Two Cranbourne men, aged 23 and 25, were charged and remanded.
