A solo learner driver in an unregistered car received $1745 in fines from police in Dandenong South.
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol intercepted the New South Wales-plated Holden on Wednesday 19 July.
The driver, the only person in the car, held a Victorian Learner’s Permit.
They received a $793 ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle, a $793 ticket for being an unaccompanied learner and a $159 ticket for not displaying L-plates.
“We can think of 1745 reasons why this driver might think twice about breaking the law again,” police said.
One big lesson for solo learner driver
