Three cars crushed

By Casey Neill

A tree crushed three cars in Springvale South during wild winds on Wednesday 14 January.
Greater Dandenong SES unit controller Shane Bolton said the tree fell at a factory on Fiveways Boulevard.
“It took us about two hours to clear the job,” he said.
“We had to be careful not to cause any further damage to the vehicles.
“It was lucky no one was inside.”
Mr Bolton said the crew also received calls to assist with other fallen trees, and some building damage.
“We got about eight jobs I think, so we got off pretty easily,” he said.
