A rubbish vehicle fire is sending smoke over Dandenong South and Bangholme.
The CFA issued an advice warning about the Mark Anthony Drive incident about 11.20am on Friday 23 February.
“The fire is contained however firefighters will be on scene for the next hour or so cleaning up the incident,” the alert said.
“Smoke will be visual and residents in the vicinity should close their windows and doors to avoid the smoke
“There is currently no threat to the community, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.”
The CFA recommended motorists avoid the area.
