Train blitz delays

Buses are replacing trains on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines as the Autumn Construction Blitz begins.
VicRoads is warning that the 44-day disruption will cause congestion on the road network in surrounding suburbs and the replacement buses.
It will allow workers to remove boom gates at Clayton Road and Centre Road and complete other works at Carnegie, Murrumbeena and Hughesdale.
From Tuesday 3 April to Sunday 15 April, buses will replace trains between the Caulfield and Westall stations.
VicRoads said replacement buses were fitted with blue tooth technology so it could track the buses in real time.
Buses will receive priority with dedicated lanes and extra green time at traffic lights.
