Springvale store theft

A thief fled with $100 after threatening a Springvale shop assistant.
The man entered the Eastern Life Lighting store on Springvale Road about 11am on Wednesday 11 April.
A staff member approached and offered assistance, but he demanded she hand over money.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Tony Lavars said the victim, a 54-year-old woman from Glenhuntly, handed over $100 in fear.
The man, described as middle-aged and Burmese in appearance, left the store.
