Video could shed light on robbery

Police hope CCTV footage will lead them to the man who robbed a Springvale lighting shop.

Investigators said he entered the Princes Highway store about 10.40am on Wednesday 11 April.

A female attendant approached and offered assistance, but he demanded cash from the register.

Police said the victim handed over some money from the till and the man left the store, walking towards Springvale Railway Station.

On Thursday 26 April, they released images and CCTV footage of a man they believe could assist with their inquiries.

He is described as about 175 centimetres tall with a thin build and shaved dark hair.

The man was wearing black business pants, black shoes and a black or navy blue long-sleeved shirt.

He appeared to be wearing makeup.
