CCTV image could hold clues

Police hope CCTV images will help them to track down a thief.

Greater Dandenong CIU said a man stole a backpack from a person on Heatherton Road, Dandenong, on 17 March.

Police said the backpack contained the victim’s wallet, and the thief used their credit cards at numerous stores in the Endeavour Hills area.

They released a still image from CCTV footage of a man they believe could assist with inquiries.
