Police are appealing for public assistance help to find Dandenong teen Tayla Hobbins.

The 13-year-old was last seen in the St Kilda area at 1.20am on Saturday 12 May.

Police are concerned for her welfare due to her age and the length of time she has been missing.

Tayla is 160 centimetres tall with a solid build, medium-length auburn-coloured hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Melton, Sunshine, St Albans, St Kilda and Melbourne CBD areas.

Police released an image of Tayla in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her whereabouts.
