A passenger threatened an Uber driver with a syringe in Dandenong, police allege.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Chris Ryan said the victim, 43, collected a passenger in Scott Street about 6.15pm on Wednesday 16 May.
He alleged the passenger produced a syringe and demanded money, and the driver pulled over.
The 22-year-old woman allegedly took the victim’s mobile phone and left the vehicle.
Police arrested her on Hemming Street a short time later.
Sen Const Ryan urged any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
