Dogs unleashed in new park

Works have begun on Noble Park’s first off-leash dog park.

The fenced dog area was born from strong community feedback as part of open-space works on the Level Crossing Removal project, a project spokeswoman said.

To coincide with the dog park, a competition for favourite ‘pooch pics’ is being run by the Level Crossing Removal Authority.

Winners of the online ‘Pooches of Noble Park’ competition will be announced on National Dog Day on 25 August.

Prizes are two $50 dog-grooming vouchers.
