Three-course challenge

There was plenty cooking between business leaders and jobseekers in the Chisholm Institute restaurant recently.

Taking part in the Kitchen Challenge, the participants served up restaurant-quality meals for 50 guests on 14 September.

It was the last step in a leadership development program that’s based around a commercial kitchen cooking challenge.

Half of the participants were business leaders, the other half were young culturally-and-linguistically-diverse (CALD) jobseekers.

They learnt teamwork, leadership and empathy skills, as well as mental resilience.
