Hit-run driver flees thrice

Police are searching for an alleged hit-run driver involved in a series of crashes at Dandenong North on 25 September.

The driver’s Toyota Rav 4 and another car collided on the Monash Freeway near Heatherton Road about 8.20pm, police say.

The driver then drove away city-bound on the freeway.

It exited at Police Road, colliding with the rear of another car along the freeway and driving on.

A third vehicle was struck at the intersection of Jacksons Road. The Toyota then U-turned and headed back on Police Road.

It was last seen on Haverbrack Drive, Mulgrave.

Police are still investigating.
