Workers have discovered a badly-decomposed body in Dandenong Creek, Dandenong South.
The body was found in the creek bed near EastLink and Greens Road shortly after 1pm on Wednesday 14 November, a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
An SES unit is helping recover the corpse.
The body will be conveyed to the State Coroner, the police spokesperson said.
