A man has been charged after bars of gold, cash and a commercial amount of drugs were allegedly discovered at a Dandenong home.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives arrested the 26-year-old Dandenong man during a raid on the De Villiers Street home on Friday 31 May.
They seized significant amounts of ‘ice’ and cannabis, several gold bullions and a large amount of cash that are alleged to be proceeds of crime, police say.
His charges include two counts of trafficking a commercial quantity of illicit drugs and dealing in the proceeds of crime.
The man was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 26 August.
A second 26-year-old man was arrested, interviewed and released pending summons.
