Police detectives are investigating a fatal fire in an apartment building in Dandenong.
Emergency services discovered a body at the blaze on McCrae Street about 8.15am on Friday 9 July.
Police are yet to formally identify the deceased person.
Forensic testing is being undertaken at the scene.
