Casey Council has rejected a proposal to open a brothel at Hallam.
The site at 18 Rimfire Drive is not in a residential area but is about 200 metres east of an existing brothel and within a kilometre of two adult stores.
A council report found the proposal was not in keeping with the need for high-amenity industrial areas and the image of Casey.
