Kinder a big budget winner

DANDENONG North East Kindergarten was one of the big winners in the council’s planned capital works budget for the next year.

It will receive $400,000 for upgrade works to create new playrooms. Other major projects in the 2012-13 budget are $38.3 million ($33.1 million in loans) for the municipal building project in central Dandenong, $500,000 upgrade of the Alan Carter pavilion and $564,000 works at Dandenong Stadium.
