Police seek help over Hallam robbery attempt

POLICE have released CCTV vision of a man they want to speak to in relation to an attempted robbery in Hallam last November.

A 17 year old Hallam youth disembarked from a Berwick-bound bus at Frawley Road and was followed by a male passenger into a park off Christopher Court about 7pm on November 29.

The male passenger demanded the teen’s mobile phone. The teenager refused and his glasses were broken when the other passenger assaulted him.

The two had earlier boarded the bus at Dandenong Plaza.

Anyone with information about the incident can call Detective Senior Constable Ash Penry of Dandenong Embona armed robbery taskforce on 9767 7619.
