Golden oldie swimmers honoured

More Wayne Hawkins' pictures show the terrible aftermath of the Dandenong South train crash.

Hazel Gilbee, 84, of Keysborough, and other members of the world record-setting ‘golden girls’ swimming relay team were feted at Government House last Friday.

The ‘old-some foursome’ broke the age record – 360 years combined – for a 4 x 50 metres relay.

Ms Gilbee, Clarice Artis, 97, Trudi Bullivant, 90, and Nancy Ayres, 89, are members of North Lodge Swimming Club in Dandenong North.
