Cannabis with $78K street value seized in Noble Park raid

By CAMERON LUCADOU-WELLS

A NOBLE Park man has been charged with trafficking cannabis after two police raids last week.

On Wednesday, Dandenong Tasking Unit police raided an Oakleigh transport company, allegedly finding a small amount of cannabis.

Acting Sergeant Nick Lamb, of Greater Dandenong CIU, said police then raided a Noble Park home seizing 3.9 kilograms of cannabis — with a street value of up to $78,000.

He said police also seized $8000 in cash.

A 39-year-old man was charged with trafficking and possessing cannabis, and possessing ecstasy and the proceeds of crime.

He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates Court on December 14.
