Former Holt MP and Dandenong councillor Max Oldmeadow was farewelled at a funeral service at Trinity Uniting Church, Dandenong, last Wednesday. The Chandler High School teacher and ALP politician, who left federal politics in 1975, was more recently a member of Greater Dandenong’s interfaith network. He died on March 21, survived by sons Russell, Ian and Graeme.
