FIVE employees were taken to Casey Hospital last night after a suspicious package was found at Dandenong South’s Australia Post centre last night.

Hundreds of workers were evacuated and mail trucks delayed when the package containing white powder was discovered about 8pm.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the site had been given the all clear and that the employees were transferred to the hospital as a precaution.

Police are investigating.
