Explosive device thrown at house

An explosive device was thrown at a Dandenong North home earlier this month. Police say a three-centimetre-diameter device, containing an unknown power, caused a small explosion but minor damage when thrown from outside the Heatherton Road residence on April 17 at  11.40pm.
