A man purporting to be a contractor has stolen a laptop from a house in McWilliam Street, Springvale. The ‘contractor’, who said he was hired to fix a door, was let into the house by a 13-year-old resident. After the man fled with the computer, the young resident left to alert neighbour. The offender is described as an Asian male, 175 centimetres and wearing sunglasses and gloves.
