GREATER Dandenong home care services will benefit from a Home and Community Care (HACC) funding boost announced this week.
The biggest beneficiary is the City of Greater Dandenong, which will receive $50,000 for its HACC programs.
The South Eastern Migrant Resource Centre will receive over $4000, and Southern Health – operator of the Dandenong Hospital – will receive $13,000.
Among the smaller grant recipients are Eastern Regions Mental Health Association, Dandenong and District Aborigines Cooperative, Cambodian Association of Victoria, The St John of Krondstadt Russian Welfare Society and neighbouring Doveton Neighbourhood Learning Centre.
