DANDENONG’S Australian Shukokai Karate Club claimed 16 medals with just 15 competitors at the Victorian Karate Championships last month.
The centre’s James Davis said the group took home nine first places medals, two seconds and four thirds.
The centre is holding an open day on 27 April to celebrate the success and its move to a new location at 2/147 Greens Road, Dandenong.
There’ll be demonstrations in karate, boxing, kick boxing, and more from 10am to 2pm.
